The predecessor of Dongfeng Fineblanking is fineblanking center of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd which was established in 1994. Fineblanking center was a part of the project “Application of CIMS unit” in National 863 plan and also was a key technical improvement project in “eighth Five” industry development plan of CAIEC. Equipped with the advanced fineblanking presses and machine tools introduced from FEINTOOL which is a leader in fineblanking technology. The fineblanking center put into production at Sept 28,1994. Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd (Dongfeng Motor and Nissan joint venture)signed the joint venture contract with Suzhou Chuangyuan(Group)Co., Ltd in 1999, then the equipments and personals of fineblinking center shifted to Suzhou city, and a joint venture company(Dongfeng Fineblanking)was registered in Suzhou Industrial Park at Aug 16,1999, and Dongfeng Fineblanking put into production officially at Nov 18,1999. In order to expand, Dongfeng Fineblanking reestablished a new plant in 2005, and the new plant in Suzhou High-New District took replacement of the old plant and put into production at June 18, 2006.
